The Empress is similar to the Empire, however, the curve at hem and the double bells adds a feminine touch. The bells form into a double box pleat, giving the look of jabots. The bell will look best with contrasting lining.
The Empress valance is a very elegant formal look. However, switching to style B; changes the formality to casual.

Similar to the shape and pleat, this style has a flat surface between the bells.
